"Election fever was not on the minds of this happy group of 7 young people on May 6th as they are the first to attend the All Saints Wickham Market Youth Club first meeting. Just 42 and Suffolk Youth are supporting this brand new venture into youth work by All Saints and this weekend a wonderful fundraising event is taking place locally to support the group. Suffolk Coastal District Council have already provided start up funding to support the group and the Church of All Saints are underwriting the project and providing the premises in what is know as the Beehive in Crown Lane. Club Leader Jacqui Goodwin (pictured with session workers Alison and Shawn) believes this club is going to great fun for the leaders as well as the young people and it is going to be very popular, we want to start small and build up so we find our weaknesses before the young people do."
