What Was Hasketon Holiday Club?

Hasketon Holiday Club was a week were we ran a Special Kidz Klub

programme every day for the children. We had a theme for the Holiday Club which was ‘Starship Discovery .’ It was an exciting theme of a spaceship, with some film clips from the ‘Miracle Maker ’ DVD. We taught stories from the Bible that looked at some characteristics of God as friend, guide, servant, boss, and mender.

 

About the Week

We have had a great week at ‘Starship Discovery’ Holiday Club, at Hasketon. Over 50 children came each day, children from Hasketon and the surrounding villages, and Woodbridge. Each morning we started with a loud countdown to blastoff, then we sang our space theme song. We had a funny drama each day, discovering more about Jesus the ‘miracle maker’ each day, making crafts and playing games. The children looked like they were having great fun, and sang the songs with lots of enthusiasm. All the leaders have said they really enjoyed the week, and thought everyone was very calm this year, and all went really smoothly! We even had time to chat! I just want to say from myself and Just42 a ‘BIG THANK YOU’ to all the leaders and young helpers who gave up their time to do Holiday Club this year. We appreciate it very much.
