Club - Kidz Klubz

'Monday Club' is an after-school Kidz Klub for children aged 5 - 11 who go to Wickham Market Primary School. This is every Monday after school, 3:30 - 4:30 in Wickham Market Primary School Hall.

This is a very popular club, and we have a lot of fun making cool crafts, playing games, singing songs and having a Bible story each week. This is only 50p each week, and the money goes towards the refreshments and crafts we buy for the children.

Ruth is the leader of the Kidz Klub, and is supported by Judith from All Saints Church in Wickham Market, and Penel from St.Johns Church in Woodbridge. They are amazing volunteers, who give their time to help Just42 in our work.

Please contact the school office to know more information about joining this club.

Puppet Club!

Puppet Club is on a Tuesday after school from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. This is at Warwick Avenue Evangelical Church, Warwick Avenue in Woodbridge, and we have a small group of adults and children from 9 + who are learning puppetry as a hobby and to perform their skills in churches and schools.

We use proper theatre puppets, that you use behind a puppet stage and the person is not seen at all. We start with the basics like entrance and exit of the puppet, and go onto lip synch and movement and later to arm rods and more advanced skills.

You don't have to bring your own puppet, we can lend you a puppet for the sessions, but you may find you want to buy one for yourself as you develop your skills.

We start with crisps and a drink, and then practice for about 45 minutes. We have a laugh and enjoy the time as well as getting more practice and learning new things.

Ruth is the leader at this club, but we all mainly join in and learn together.

Why not have a read about the Holiday Clubs we had last year!!

We had a great Holiday Club 'Jungle Mania' in the Easter School Holidays. It was April the 6th to April the 9th, Tuesday to Friday mornings, 10:00 - 12:30 p.m.

The Holiday Club was held at the Woodbridge Youth Centre for the first time this Easter. It was a great venue, especially with the field beside the Centre for games and a Picnic we had on the Friday.

We had a fantastic week, 40 children came along and had loads of fun!

The theme was ‘Jungle Mania’ and the hall was decorated like a Jungle with each team having their own Jungle canopy! We had some lively new songs that we all sang very loudly! we had some really messy jungle challenges, like the 'Jungle Swamp' (see photo!!). We got fit with some 'Bible Bop' which is children's aerobics to lively Bible songs!(John Hardwick DVD -I recommend you buy it for your children at www.johnhardwick.org.uk) the children really loved it!! We also had lots of different activities to do, like making crafts and playing games outside. The ‘Madagascar’ video clips were really funny, and the children learnt Bible Stories about people on adventures. The week was a great success, and we all enjoyed it!

One parent said "My children had such a good time they keep asking me, 'Can we go to the next one!' so we are not booking anything in the summer holidays, until we know when the Just42 Holiday Club is on, so I can book the children in!"

Jackie said "My daughter had such a wonderful time, she loved it, and really wants to go to another one!"

So we are busy organising the next Holiday Club which will be at Hasketon Village Hall, Hasketon, Woodbridge, Suffolk

26th July to 30th July 10:00- 12:30   Don't miss out on the fun!!!!

All parents wishing their children to attend should reserve places by completing the relevant form available from the Youth Centre or via telephone (01394 380992). For those using e-mail – info[at]just42.org[dot]uk

Easter Holiday Club

A Holiday Club Programme written by John Hardwick.

Razzamatazz Robots was the Holiday Club we ran in the Summer Holidays. 60 children came along during the week, and we had loads of fun! We watched film clips from 'Disney Robots' movie, and had a Bible Story each day from Creation to Noah and the flood and Gods big plan. There were games to play and crafts to make, and even a Bouncy Castle to enjoy! Each day Professor Potty would be in his shed and come out and show the children one of his latest inventions, which were always very crazy!! And we also had a Leaders challenge each day, normally very messy!!

100 people came to our popular Family Night which was a 'Robots Crazy' BBQ night! We even had a special guest visitor who has entered a robot in to the TV programme 'Robots Wars'! He had remote control robots for the children to play with, and we had face painting, and a treasure hunt to have a go at, and loads more. It has been so much fun, and we want to thank all the leaders and helpers at Razzamatazz Holiday Club this year, for all their hard work in making this week possible!!!
