Hoo Ha!
Event CAncelled
It is with deep regret and a lot of sadness that we find ourselves having to cancel the planned Hoo HA! Festival at Sutton Hoo Farm 16, 17, 18 July 2010.
When we said ‘a risk worth taking’ it was only Just42 who were at risk, however, the risk became too great when it meant we may not be able to pay our bills and we were risking other people’s livelihoods as well as our own.
As a charity we have no assets to underpin such an adventurous project and the decision has been made as we find ourselves devoid of predicted external support funding that would have ‘banked’ the event. The ‘body of the iceberg’ hit us this week when we learned another key supporter was not able to fund us at this time.
It is very, very unfortunate and we are confident enough to say it is a better time to stop the festival now than to risk being unable to pay our debts.
