Just42 was set up in 2002 to serve children and young people in the southern Suffolk coastal area. Based on Christian values, we provide a range of programmes for children and young people of all faiths and none, designed to make a difference in their lives. In the first four years of operation we have grown from small beginnings to a portfolio of 14 projects and 7 programmes involving over 350 young people.
By taking part in our projects and programmes children and young people will be offered:
Just42 provides services in Woodbridge and Kesgrave and the surrounding rural communities. This serves a youth population of over 2,500 representing about 14% of the total population.
Just42’s work is planned, delivered and evaluated in conjunction with many other local agencies who work with young people, from voluntary youth work providers to major statutory services. We are committed to sustaining joint strategic planning and delivery. Our priority is to develop the involvement of key stakeholders in all aspects of our work, especially young people, staff, parents, local community leaders, and our charity members and friends.
Our overall aim is to make a real difference in young people’s lives, particularly those most disadvantaged or excluded because of age, gender, geography, disability, mental or other health issues, prejudice, social issues, lifestyle choices or behaviour.
