About us
Just42 was set up in 2002 to serve children and young people in the southern Suffolk coastal area. Based on Christian values, we provide a range of programmes, projects and activities for children and young people of all faiths and none, designed to make a difference in their lives. We have grown from small beginnings to running 7 Youth Clubs and 7 Kidz Klubs during term times plus a variety of other work including partnerships with Farlingaye High School and other local Primary Schools. In holiday periods we also run Holiday Clubs for children and other activities for young people. Please see the 'What We Do' section for more details in this respect.
Outcomes
By taking part in our projects and programmes children and young people will be offered:
- Somewhere safe to meet and build relationships
- A stimulating and challenging programme of activities for education and growth
- Support with difficult circumstances and personal development
- Faith based projects for those interested in learning about Christianity and faith
Area
Just42 provides services in Woodbridge and Kesgrave and the surrounding rural communities. This serves a youth population of over 2,500 representing about 14% of the total population.
Partnerships and Stakeholders
Just42’s work is planned, delivered and evaluated in conjunction with many other local agencies who work with young people, from voluntary youth work providers to major statutory services. We are committed to sustaining joint strategic planning and delivery. Our priority is to develop the involvement of key stakeholders in all aspects of our work, especially young people, staff, parents, local community leaders, and our charity members and friends.
Making a Difference
Our overall aim is to make a real difference in young people’s lives, particularly those most disadvantaged or excluded because of age, gender, geography, disability, mental or other health issues, prejudice, social issues, lifestyle choices or behaviour.
